Caitlin Lynch
B i o g r a p h y

Caitlin Lynch is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Music at Messiah College and Thomas Edison State University. Caitlin has been teaching privately for 7 years. She enjoys any kind of music. Caitlin was classically trained and continues her studies in classical music but is also interested in improvising in any genre. Caitlin has been studying classical violin with Kurt Nikkanen for 5 years.
She also participates in the Kutztown University's Chamber Music Program, working with both Kurt Nikkanen and Maria Asteriadou. Caitlin enjoys going to New York City to study and perform. Most recently, she has been working with the band Walking Upright out of New York City. Caitlin had the great fortune of recording with Richie Cannata at Cove City Sound Studio in New York 2 years ago. She also has an internship with jazz vocalist, KJ Denhert in New York City. As an advocate for contemporary music, Caitlin is currently working on composing music and recording her own demo this year.
Caitlin has a private violin studio of all ages, teaching classical violin, improvisation, and music theory. Caitlin teaches in central Pennsylvania area. Please contact Caitlin if you are interested in violin lessons.
